Poster depicts a ship yard worker clinging to a flag pole yelling, “hip-hip” w/ a ship yard scene in the background. Poster’s frame measures 47" x 65 1/2". The bottom of the poster reads, “ANOTHER SHIP – ANOTHER VICTORY” & “UNITED STATES SHIPPING BOARD EMERGENCY FLEET CORPORATION ISSUED BY PUBLICATION SECTION EMERGENCY FLEET CORPORATION PHILADELPHIA PA”. The United States Shipping Board was created in 1916 by the Shipping Act & the program was ended in 1934. CONDITION: poster appears to have been quarter folded & has some scattered edge tears. Poster has not been examined out of frame. (02-14901/BF). $300-400.
