Iowa FNAWS is very fortunate to offer this hunt! True, pure Kri-Kri Ibex can only be hunted in Greece. This special hunt is for three days, one of which would be on Atalanti Island. Atalanti Island is open to hunting only on Fridays during November. Hunting takes place in strategically placed blinds on well used Kri-Kri trails. Should the hunter not be successful on Atalanti Island, arrangements have been made for two additional days to hunt Kri-Kri on the Greece mainland. Or if the hunter is successful on Atalanti, the other two hunting days can be used to add-on a Kri-Kri hybrid, which is highly desired for the Capra list of GSCO. This is an all-inclusive hunt from when you arrive at the Athens airport until when you are dropped back off at the airport. Included are all airport transfers, deluxe accommodations and excellent meals, boat ride from the mainland to Atalanti Island, as well as all permits, firearm use and any taxes. This is a great trip to take an extended vacation to tour the unbelievable country of Greece, including the Acropolis and the incredible mountain-top monasteries or Meteora. The trophy fee for the Kri-Kri hybrid is $8,000 and paid only if the hunter is successful. Non-hunting companions can be added for a nominal cost which would be agreed upon with the outfitter. There is limited availability in 2023 and can also be scheduled for 2024. Iowa FNAWS members Craig Nakamoto and Pat O’Neill hunted with Greek Mountain Hunting and were very successful in obtaining fantastic trophies.
