Rohilla Chieftaincies - silver rupee, in the name of Shah Alam II, Muhibullah Nagar mint, AH -/RY 14, 'inverted letter N’ in seen of Jalus on reverse next to RY, 11.02g.

Very fine, Very rare.

The name 'Muhibullah Nagar' was an alias of Bisauli, which was governed by the family of Dundey Khan. After his death in 1771, his estates were divided between his heirs - his widow, three sons, and a daughter - by Hafiz Rahmat Khan, the supreme Rohilla leader. Dundey Khan's eldest son was named Muhibullah Khan and the town takes the name after him.
