Cal. 7.62x39. S# 1970CO2381. Bbl. 16". In the early days of the War on Terror, the United States utilized several outside contractors for security projects in Iraq & Afghanistan. One such company, SOC-USA, utilized numerous Romanian WASR AKs which were later imported into the USA and marketed as "Iraqi Contractor WASR 10 AK47s". This is one of these guns, believed to had been used in the ME Theater imported through CAI in Georgia, VT. Slanted muzzle brake w/ proper left hand thread in front of protected post front sight, on board cleaning rod supported w/ bayonet lug. Rear sight adj. from 200-1000m. Black matte finish on all exposed metal surfaces. Left side original style scope mount. Correct laminated wood furniture w/ black plastic pistol grip & Tapco trigger. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: cleaning kit in rear stock trapdoor. CONDITION: original flat black metal finish is complete & consistent. High spot finish wear on scope mount & scratching below charging handle, probably from storage. Lettering that appears to be black marker on right side of stock. Bore is shiny w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-693/JZ). MODERN. $800-1,200.
