AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 7.62 NATO. S# 4537135. Bbl. 24" marked on right side "LMR D653544? 1 55 A39 P?", & Defense acceptance stamp. Has been overstamped in white enhanced markings "7.62 NATO M11". Internet research indicates this rifle may have been converted in or for Pakistan, although no import marks appear on the rifle. Additionally markings do not appear correct for US Navy conversions. Chamber has bushing to adapt rifle to 7.62 NATO cartridge, also shows coarse reamer marks. Rifle has white plastic spacer in forward end of mag.-well. Flush nut aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. High hump gas cyl. lock & cross slot gas cyl. lock screw. All visible markings except bolt are "IHC". Stamped trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Stock is marked on left side w/ boxed Defense acceptance stamp & "P" under pistol grip. Stock bedding has not been modified. CONDITION: buttstock has notably more wear, dents, scratches & staining than handguards, but all have original finish. Metal has 75% original parkerized finish w/ light wear & scattered scratches. Very good shiny bore. (20-10/RW). CURIO. $900-1,200.
