Original light switch cover used in the Ron Howard directed Christmas comedy film 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' (2000), based on the 1957 story of the same name by Dr. Seuss. It won the Academy Award for Best Makeup, and was also nominated for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.
The film is narrated by Anthony Hopkins and stars Jim Carrey as the eponymous character, with Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Molly Shannon, Bill Irwin, and Taylor Momsen in supporting roles.
