Flat percussion Golcher lock, full length striped maple stock, decorated w/ 20 border engraved German silver inlays including "hunter’s star" in cheek piece, oval engraved patchbox, brass furniture, dbl. set triggers. CONDITION: very good overall, replaced bolster & nipple. Metal overall a plum/brown patina w/ pitting around bolster, strong maker’s mark, inlays all original & intact, stock retains some original black finish w/ hand worn patina. Mechanics need attention as won’t hold cock, crisp rifled bore. (01-17226/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500.
