This is a two-day guided hunt for a hybrid sheep (European mouflon/Hawaiian sheep) for one hunter. It is a fair chase hunt that will take place on 13,000 acres of private land on the west slope of Mauna Loa Mountain on the big island of Hawaii. Note that a pure mouflon cannot be taken on the hunt; the donor points out that “there is a $7000 trophy fee and he or she is walking down the mountain” if a pure mouflon is shot. If your shot (rifle or bow) draws blood, the animal is considered to be harvested. Lodging, meals, and transportation in the field are included with the donation. The donation does not include ground transportation to and from the meeting point, lodging prior to or after the hunt, care of the meat and trophy, hunting license, or gratuities. The winning bidder may also bring along a youth hunter (15 years or younger) to hunt a Hawaiian ram, and the hunt must be completed by May 11, 2025

Hunt Donations: In reference to hunting donations, some specific dates are set by the donors; it is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements regarding dates and application for any required paperwork for licenses and permits. It is at the discretion of the outfitter whether or not to honour the purchase if no contact has been made within the 30-day limit. Additionally, the outfitter is under no obligation to facilitate a hunt outside of the timeframe indicated in the hunt description. Please do not purchase the hunt if you can not utilize the hunt within the time frame indicated in the hunt description!

Live Auction
The auctioneer will facilitate bidding on live auction items, through both bids on the floor, and bids via this online hunting auction website. In case of a disputed bid, the bid may be re-opened at the discretion of the auctioneer whose decision is final. The Association reserves the right of refusal on any item.
The donor or outfitter is notified of the winning bidder by the association. All online winning bidders will have the credit card processed immediately following the sale of the item and will receive an invoice regarding their purchase within 15 days of the close of the auction by email from the Online Hunting Auction Website. It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements.
