Flust nut aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Op rod marked "IHC". Trigger housing marked "SA" w/ milled trigger guard. Hammer marked "SA". Walnut stock set. Stock has obliterated circle "P" under grip. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: two 6 3/4" blade bayonets marked on cross guard "U.S. M5A1 MILPAR COL". Has checkered plastic grips. Web & plastic scabbard marked "US M8A1" & "PWH". Bayonets show light wear, have been sharpened, w/ spots of oxidation. Second bayonet shows moderate wear. Scabbard 1 has light overall wear, verdigris on brass parts. Second scabbard is incorrect plastic & metal for M1 bayonet marked "US" w/ flaming bomb. 1- 8 rd. clip. Combination tool w/ brush in original protective coating & wrapper. M7 grenade launcher marked "HSM CO FOR M1 RIFLE". CONDITION: buttstock & handguard have arsenal rework type finish w/ light wear & handling marks. Metal retains 85% original parkerizing w/ light wear & scattered spots of missing finish. Rear of gas cyl. has finish removed behind stacking swivel. Lightly worn bore has sharp lands, grooves turning dark. (20-1201/RW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
