Kadambas of Goa, Shivachitta Vajradeva (11-12 Century CE), Gold Gadyana, Cyclic year 'Subhanu'?, Obv: a mythical lion (Sardula) standing with its reverted head facing the left, its tail curled against its back, and a front leg raised, sun and crescent moon above, a swastika behind its rump, the cyclic year in the Nagari legends in front of lion which reads "Subhanu?", Rev: the Nagari legend "Shri Saptako/tishwara labdhavee/ra Shri Shivachitta Veera/ Vajra Devamalava/ ramari" in five lines, 4.36g, 19.35mm, (Unlisted type), with almost complete details visible on both sides and a linear border surrounded by dots, some test marks otherwise extremely fine, Very Rare.
Note: The son of Jayakeshi III, Vajradeva, had been ruling on his own during his father's reign. Some inscriptions state that he was involved in government functions and left endowments in his name.
