Owner Kent Huff has graciously donated a 5-day fishing trip for 2 anglers at Glacier Bay's Eagles Nest Lodge in Gustavus, Alaska (35 miles west of Juneau). This area is known for the world’s best halibut fishing and world class salmon fishing on the calm and protected waters of the inside passage. King salmon, silver salmon, sockeye salmon and pink salmon along with the largest average sized halibut caught in Alaska. Eagles Nest Lodge guests have caught six fish in the past 4 years that were larger than the current world's record. These gut-busters weighed in at 482, 476, 470, 468 and two at 466 pounds!!!The lodge holds one certified line class world's record, and 100-pound fish are caught regularly. Boats are 28 feet long with an enclosed cabin, heater, head and the latest electronic gear. Package includes comfortable lodging, excellent family-style meals, ground transportation, boat, experienced captain, picnic lunches, rods, reels, tackle, bait, license, stamps, fish filleting, vacuum packing and boxing of two 50-pound boxes. Package does not include airfare to and from Gustavus, Alaska, hotels before/after lodge if required, gratuities and/or alcohol. We thank Kent for his extremely generous donation.
