Ghostbusters (2016) - Proton Blaster (Unused Backup).
Made of foam. This is a production made backup. The Proton Blaster (also known as Proton Sidearm) was one of many Proton Sidearm gadgets developed by Jillian Holtzmann in the 2016 movie. She introduced the Proton Blaster along with the the other Proton Sidearms after the Ghostbusters met Mayor Bradley. The Blaster was taken into the field by Patty Tolan for the battle with Rowan North and the Times Square Battle Ghosts. She kept it in her right leg holster.
Original proton blaster made for the production of the from the Paul Feig directed supernatural comedy film 'Ghostbusters' (2016). The reboot of the 1984 film of the same name and the third film, overall, in the Ghostbusters franchise. The story focuses on four women and their assistant who begin a ghost-catching business in New York City.
It stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Neil Casey, Cecily Strong, Andy Garcia, and Chris Hemsworth.
