This varied lot includes 1 leather shot pouch w/ brass charger. / 1 Excavated Civil War Enfield bayonet. / 1 Civil War excavated snake buckle & keeper. / 1 Post Civil War scissor type bullet mold, approx. 45 cal. / 1 Bullet pouch/cartridge box of possible Confederate association. Pouch is hand sewn pigskin w/ a lg. brass finial. Attached tag states that the pouch was found in Texas. / 1 Typed letter, in a frame measuring 9 3/8" x 7 1/2", from "THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON" dated May 18, 1937 to Col. James M. Thomson of New Orleans, Louisiana, signed in ink by Franklin Roosevelt. Letter has staining on the left hand margin. / 1 Poster measuring 27 3/8" x 20 1/2" featuring chest up views of 3 WWI soldiers surrounded by wreaths w/ names below; left to right, "HAY / ENRIGHT / GRESHAM". Poster reads "The First Three! Give till it Hurts they gave till they died". Poster is signed "Kidder". There are sm. losses primarily at the top edge. / 1 Russian poster measuring 23" x 15" featuring what appears to be the Goddess of Agriculture walking w/ a peasant woman. / 1 Poster measuring 38" x 25" of a dead sailor washed up on shore by Anton Otto Fisher w/ the caption, "a careless word... A NEEDLESS LOSS". Poster is mounted on foam core. / 1 Poster measuring 10" x 59 1/2" featuring a soldier w/ a missing gun & the caption, "A Half Filled Stamp Album is like a Half-Equipped Soldier" followed by an image of a ration book.
