This is a nice group of knives all w/ original Rock Island scabbards, each knife has massive 12" bolo blades, all serial numbered & all Springfield Armory marked "S A / flaming bomb" logo. Each knife has a different date of mfg.; 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913 & 1914. Scabbards found w/ knives date from 1908-1912. Also included in this group is a fine, loose brass mounted Watervliet sheath for a model 1887 hospital knife. CONDITION: very good overall; as seen in photos, several blades retain most of their original luster, others good w/ staining & sharpening. (02-13687/JS). $1,300-2,000.
