BAYONETS. Usual configuration for these innovative entrenching tool & weapon w/ 10” x 3 1/2” blade, patent markings on side of socket “PAT. APR. 16 ‘72”. Each bayonet has an accompanying scabbard, 2 are in original configuration from Watervliet Arsenal & 2 have Arsenal alterations for web belt. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, sockets retain much of their original blue, blades are mostly bright w/ cleaning. (02-13686/JS). $700-1,000.
