Foreign Coins, Nepal, Shah coins for the Kathmandu Vally, Rana Bahadur Shah (SE 1699-1720 / 1777-1799 AD), Silver Mohar, SE 1711, 5.46g, 25.87mm, Obv. small central square with trident, surrounded by legend, all this within square which has openings on the four sides and two double arches attached to each side, legend “Sri Sri Sri Ra/na Ba/ hadur/Saha Deva” and date below, within two double arches, moon in upper left double arch and sun in upper right double arch, cakra (discus) and lotus flower within double arches on left side, and conch and mace within double arches on right side of square, Rev. central circle with eight petals attached to it, sword with garland between two horizontal lines, and legend Śrī /Bhava/ni in centre of circle, legend in petals, “Sri Sri Sri Gorakhanatha”, (RGV# 697, KM# 502), Very Fine, Scarce.
