Fast Horn was selected by Crazy Horse to join the Society of the Grass Dancers. This special elite warriors society of thirteen warriors was initially formed to guard Paha Sapa (Black Hills), the home of Wakan Tanka and led by Black Bear. They were used to scout Custer and the 7th Cavalry as they approached before the Battle of Little Bighorn. His name is found on this rifle.
