SERIAL NUMBER: 55308. BARRELS: 26-3/4". CALIBER: 16 GAUGE. MANUFACTURED: CIRCA 1920s/30'S. Made in France in the ST. Etienne region. Bottoms of the barrels are St. Etienne proofed. No period retailer or importer marks are present. Matching serials on the frame, barrels, thumb lifter and bolt. Barrels have a matted rib and a bead front sight. Blued finish, with the frame having a nickel finish. Wood stock and forearm have been lightly sanded and re-oiled. Checkering still present on the wrist and forearm. Original horn type butt plate. This gun has a very interesting roll up sling stored in the butt stock. It rolls out, and locks into the front sling stud. Double triggers with the safety selector on the right side of the frame. Chamber is most likely 2-9/16". Chokes measure roughly full and modified. LOP is: 14-1/2". CONDITION: Metal is very good overall. Barrels have a few minor freckles of surface rust. Frame has light tarnish and scratches. Wood has light impressions, dents and scratches. Bores are clean overall. Acton seems functional. Sling has light wear and crazing, being intact.
