SERIAL NUMBER: 4144687. BARREL: 18". CALIBER: .30 CARBINE. MANUFACTURED: 1943. Made late 1943, early 1944. Barrel is Buffalo Arms production (military contractor), and is dated "11-43". No import marks found. National Postal Meter slide, bolt (flat type), trigger housing, and safety (push type). Hammer is Inland, as is the flip rear sight. Narrow front band is unmarked, as is the recoil plate. Irwin Pedersen marked two rivet hand guard. "TRIMBLE/TN" marked in the stock channel, which was a contractor for NPM. Boxed "NPM" cartouche on the right side of the stock, behind the crossed cannons cartouche. Parkerized finish and oiled wood stock. Includes an original green canvas sling and metal oiler. No magazine. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall, with a few handling marks. Wood has minor scrapes, scratches and dents. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Fine mechanics. C&R
