Medal, Gwalior State, Madhav Rao Scindia, Silver Octagonal Medal, Awarded to “Mohammad Ali 1973” (VS 1973), Obv: portrait of the ruler facing right in the circle and an eight-pointed concave frame, Rev: the fortress of Gwalior fort within a circle edged by eight leaf designs, engraved on the edge “MOHAMMAD ALI 1973”, with bar, 33.9g, 38.69mm, (McClenaghan # 117), superb quality, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.
Note: Medals that have been awarded and have the recipient's name engraved on the edge are much rarer than those without the recipient's name.
