Measuring 15" tall with a 7" x 16" base.

Made of resin.

Phil Tippett has signed the base.

This particular type of alien plant was cut from the film.

Original painted "Alien Plant" used in the production of the Ivan Reitman directed science fiction comedy film 'Evolution' (2001), which plot follows college professor Ira Kane (Duchovny) and geologist Harry Block (Jones) as they investigate a meteor crash in Arizona, only to discover that it harbors rapidly evolving extraterrestrial life forms.

Starring David Duchovny, Orlando Jones, Seann William Scott, Julianne Moore, and Ted Levine in lead roles.

Prop has been broken off the base and repaired sometime in it's life and is recommended to be better stabilized by the new owner.

This lot is part of the Phil Tippett Collection and will come with a co-signed COA by Phil Tippett.

Phil Tippett is the founder and namesake of Tippett Studio. His varied career in visual effects has spanned more than 30 years and includes two Academy Awards; and six nominations, one BAFTA award and four nominations, two Emmys and the advent of modern digital effects in motion pictures.

He is the inventor of the Stop-Motion technique called Go-Motion and even has a dinosaur species named after him: Elaphrosaurus philtippettorum.
