(Disneyland, 1962) An original acetate recording of the soundtrack for the Enchanted Tiki Room. The lacquer-over-aluminum record retains a Walt Disney Productions center label blank on the front dated "6-8-62," about a year before the attraction opened. The recording includes music from the attraction, without the narration from the bird hosts. Cut to play at 33rpm with a 78 needle, the disc is in fair condition with some surface wear throughout, and a few cracks and chips to the outermost 0.75". The original paper sleeve is included which has small tears and edge wear. This rare recording represents an incredible opportunity to own a significant artifact from this fan-favorite attraction.
