Serial #131473 Caliber 45-90 WCF & 45-70 Gov’t Manufactured 1903. Elegant Special Order Winchester Deluxe 1886 with checkered pistol grip stocks of highly flame figured American walnut with “H” pattern checkered forearms and shotgun butt. Mounted with blade front sight and Express rear sights and fitted with sliding Lyman receiver sight. Additional special features are the 1/2 magazine tubes and the ½ round ½ Octagon 45-90 WCF barrel. Blue finished with case colored hammer and lever. A very attractive and desired 1886 Winchester. CONDITION. Very good with the receiver retaining over 70% blue finish the 45-70 Gov’t round barrel is very fine and the 45-90 WCF barrel is apparently period refinished. The wood stocks are very good with moderate wear at checkering and generous amounts of varnish remaining. C&R
