COMBINATION TOOL. 1) Large Collins knife, 17" overall w/ 12 1/4" blade in like new condition w/ matching scabbard embossed “SOCIETY OF COLONIAL WARS IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK / BANQUET IN HONOR OF MEMBERS / WHO SERVED IN SPANISH WAR. --- JAN.16.1899”. CONDITION: knife is extremely fine, blade retains most of its original polish & crisp Collins & Co. marking on ricasso, scabbard is equally fine retaining most of its brown finish & plating to metal tip, scuffing on scalloped edge of leather throat. 2) US Cavalry Picket Pen combination hammer & horse shoe nail remover in original brown leather scabbard, 13 3/4" overall. CONDITION: tool appears as issued, gray iron patina, accompanying scabbard is excellent including both attaching straps, brass buckles have olive patina. (02-13694/JS). $500-700.
