Receiver marked on left side above trigger guard "U.S.", "MODEL 620" over loading port & "P" over flaming bomb at lower forward end of receiver. Bbl. Markings on right side include "P" over flaming bomb & "J STEVENS ARMS COMPANY DIVISION OF SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION CHICOPEE FALLS MASS. U.S.A.". Bbl. marked on left side "PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE 2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER". Sheet metal handguard has 6 rows of holes. Correct bayonet lug w/ plum coloration. Brass bead front sight. Sling swivel. Unmarked non checkered oil finished walnut stock set. Smooth slide handle. Unmarked commercial type buttplate. Butt has factory installed sling swivel. Green web sling dated "1944". CONDITION: wood has very light wear w/ scattered handling marks & notable sm. dent on left side of buttstock. Metal retains 90% brushed blue military finish w/ correct plum colored bayonet lug.
