Cal. 22 LR. S# 143. Hardwood box machine inletted for conversion assembly. Bbl. & receiver numbered 143. All components of bolt assembly numbered 1390 or 90. Replacement floorplate (S#2935) marked "ERMA / ERFURT / 1938". Case is unmarked. Numerous eagle party symbol proofs plus eagle 77 on bbl. / receiver assembly including locking lugs plus complete bolt assembly. Floorplate assembly on internal portions w/ 2 eagle 77"s plus eagle 280 (also on front below date). Short sm. knurled tool to assist w/ installation. MAGS: 1 very good 5 rd. marked "ERMA / ERFURT / 1937" plus eagle 280 proof (case inletted for 2 mags.). CONDITION: generally good appearing set w/ internal accessories about very good. Bbl. w/ slight stained appearance. Insert receiver assembly w/ numerous marks including results of bbl. retaining pins being removed, reinserted & filed flush to its receiver. Bolt assembly has very stiff functioning. Very good bore w/ slight bend likely corrected upon insertion into Model 98 bbl. (20-1261/NW). MODERN. $500-700.
