Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 8922j. Bbl. 4", chamber dated 1917. Entire toggle assembly numbered 67; remainder of firearm including grips numbered 22. Back of both grips also have crown U & "h". Appropriate interior areas in the white. Blued ejector, other sm. parts strawed. MAGS: 2-8 rd., very good dull plated w/ matching numbered wood base plus fair gray toned, stained as well as plated w/ wood base numbered 5207n & +. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair brown flap holster w/ buckle & strap retention plus dbl. belt loops. Underside of flap neatly inked w/ 8922 & "W". Makers stamp of "STEINMETZ / BRESLAU / 1917" under flap plus good Erfurt proofed tool. Numerous scuffs throughout holster especially on flap; missing top portion of lift strap. CONDITION: good overall arsenal like refinished appearance w/ scattered peppery oxidation. Best straw colors on trigger; others noticeably faded. Extractor w/ stained unfinished appearance & "S" proof marked. Very good grips w/ minimal wear; medium toned left; very dark right. Fair, worn & pitted bore. (19-5728/NW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
