Locks are chamfered w/ rebated tails engraved w/ sunbursts. Plates marked in fancy script "GARDNER" under pans. Elegant beveled high neck serpentine cocks, waterproof pans, bridled roller frizzens w/ border edging en suite to cocks & hammers. Guns are both steel mounted. Engraved panoply of arms adorns trigger bows w/ stylized feathered urns as finials. Lightly figured European walnut stocks. Each have 4 oval silver keyway escutcheons. Wood ramrods are horn tipped. CONDITION: fine overall. Bbls. show most of their original brown striping. Locks are silver/gray patina. Stocks are sound w/ sharp edges. 1 Repaired hairline.
