FRAME, MUZZLE CAP, RIG. Cal. 7.65mm Luger. S# 655. Seldom offered Swiss M1900 Commercial Luger in its original configuration, with unrelieved frame, complete with front sight cover, excellent holster with pouch, straps, and spare magazine. Standard configuration M1900 with 4.75" barrel, drift adjustable front sight and "V" notched rear sight. Swiss Cross over chamber. Dished toggle with anti-rebound lock, DWM on middle link, narrow trigger and narrow grip safety. Large, first variation thumb checkered safety. BUG commercial proofs under barrel, left side of receiver and left side of first/second toggle links. "172.28" under barrel is a British reference to caliber. Major components rust blued. Trigger, takedown lever, extractor, ejector, magazine release button are strawed. Fire blued front sight and grip screws. Finely checkered walnut panels. Front sight cover marked "H. LUTHY/ARMES/NEUCHATEL". Disassembly shows all factory matching numbers including both grips. MAGS: correct primary magazine with plain wood base and flat checkered button. Secondary magazine, also with flat checkered button, is M1900 military issue with metal discs. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: supple leather unmarked holster, pouch, and straps. Near excellent holster, with no restitching. CONDITION: approximately 95% original blue showing usual high-point holster wear and slight fading of front and backstraps. Discreetly import marked using a fine laser etching method in an unobtrusive area. Comparable condition straw that shows no evidence of enhancement. Grip screws reheated to appear near new. Near excellent grips with darkening, sharp diamonds, minimal losses. Mirror bright bore. Near excellent manual mechanics with both magazines.
