A fine example of a solid brass signal cannon utilizing a mechanism similar to the Winchester signal cannon mechanism seen on their carriage mounted 10 Ga. tubes. Bbl. length is 14 1/4" & the bbl. takes a 10 Ga. shell. The bbl. is mounted on a stationary cone shaped deck mount measuring approx. 10" high & 7" in diameter. A unique form that appears fully operable & is visually quite attractive. CONDITION: brass has a pleasing mellow patina. All swivels & mechanisms work well. (02-15007/BF). $800-1,200.
