Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015) - Hero Light-Up Scanner.
Measuring 10 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 4 1/4".
Original hero scanner used in the dystopian science fiction action film 'Divergent' (2014), where, in a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it's too late.
The scanner is a high-tech biometric device used by the antagonist faction Erudite and their Dauntless allies (such as Eric) to test and measure a person's level of Divergence. The device identifies a 100% Divergent reading, famously used to capture Tris Prior.
It is made of aluminum with a handle section attached to three aluminum struts, each with round illuminating discs. A small switch ion the handle activates the LED lights located in each disc. This piece was custom made by the production and remains in excellent, production used condition.
