(Disneyland, Disneyana Shop, c. 2000's). The Walt Disney Studios was founded October 16, 1923. Walt Disney had a series of successful characters and animated shorts in the first few years of the studios, including Oswald the Rabbit. But after having Oswald taken away from him by Universal Studios, Walt looked to re-establish his company. In 1926, Walt moved himself and his animators to Hyperion Avenue in Hollywood and there with the help of Ub Iwerks created the character Mickey Mouse. Offered here is a Disney limited edition prop of the original sign that stood on top of the Hyperion Walt Disney Studios. The sign measures approximately 18" x 14" and is in very condition with normal wear from age and minimal use.

In House shipping is available for a fee. Cost of materials, labor, and transportation. We also work with third party shippers or can take items to a shipping store of your choice. Freight shipping is also an option. Please ask for a freight quote before bidding on items that require freight shipping. We will only ship to the address registered on your payment account. If you need something shipped to a different address then it is the buyers responsibility to update your payment info's address. For example, if you pay by paypal we will only ship to the address that is registered to that paypal account. Please contact us in advance if you need an item shipped to a separate address. Local pick up is an option as well. Must provide ID and sign off on item(s). If ID does not match the winning bidders information we will not release item(s).
