(Disneyland, c.1950s) A very early S.S. Mark Twain Pilot's Certificate. The document assures that the holder of the certificate "is a suitable and safe person to be entrusted with the power and duties of Pilot of this steam boat." Measuring approximately 7"x8.5", the souvenir was given to guests that visited the Wheelhouse of the Mark Twain. It is in good condition, exhibiting only minor discoloration, creases, and edge wear.
