DEMO LOT
(Disneyland, c.1960's-70's). The "Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction in Disneyland opened March 18, 1967. The attraction was an instant hit with guests, featuring some of Disneyland's first and most advanced human-like Audio-Animatronics and housing some of the most developed sets of any dark ride created for the park. In its first few years of operation, a traditional black and white "pirate" flag with a skull and bones was featured at the front of the attraction. Guests in the line queue would view the flag when entering the attraction, while those in the boats could view it in closer detail as they came to the end of their ride, which circled them around a tiny prop island where the flag was prominently displayed. A former Disneyland cast member was allowed to keep the flag upon retirement and this flag is presented here in very good condition with normal wear from several years of use on Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean. One of the most rare and desired original Disneyland props and from one of the most exciting attractions ever created for the park. The flag is made of wool. Accompanying prop sets including a treasure chest have been added to help display the flag and are not part of the lot. This lot is only selling the flag itself. The flag measures approximately 8 ft x 5 ft.

In House shipping is available for a fee. Cost of materials, labor, and transportation. We also work with third party shippers or can take items to a shipping store of your choice. Freight shipping is also an option. Please ask for a freight quote before bidding on items that require freight shipping. We will only ship to the address registered on your payment account. If you need something shipped to a different address then it is the buyers responsibility to update your payment info's address. For example, if you pay by paypal we will only ship to the address that is registered to that paypal account. Please contact us in advance if you need an item shipped to a separate address. Local pick up is an option as well. Must provide ID and sign off on item(s). If ID does not match the winning bidders information we will not release item(s).
