(Disneyland, 1956) An early ceramic souvenir plate depicting a vintage 1956 Disneyland map. The reverse features a legend in metallic gold: "Disneyland…whose realms provide the time machine for a journey back into history, a rocket trip into the future, a visit to a world of imagination and dreams, and an exploration of a jungle wonder world…truly the ‘Happiest Place on Earth.'" Measuring 7.5" in diameter, the souvenir is in very good condition with minor surface scuffs and a few pinpoint imperfections to the reverse.
