(Disneyland, c. 1997). A rare Disneyland Light Magic parade opening event kit. The Light Magic parade premiered in 1997 and was immediately met with mixed responses from park guests. It quickly earned the nickname "Light Tragic" and within four months it was shut down, never to return to operation (despite promises by Disney that it would in 2000). it continues as one of the most infamous attractions of Disneyland's past with a cult following. Presented here is a rare opening event kit for the original 1997 Light Magic parade of Disneyland. Included in the kit is a 1997 inaugural season brochure, annual passholder grand opening night letter, premiere tickets and multiple maps with Light Magic marketing and the inclusion of the parade on the park map. The items are in good condition with normal wear from age and handling. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
