(Disneyland, Disney Gallery, c.1987-88). A very rare and early Disney Gallery print of concept art produced by Herb Ryman around 1955-56 for the Holidayland area that was created along the western edge of Disneyland. Because of this, Holidayland had its own entrance to Disneyland. Often referred to as the "lost" land of Disneyland, the area it once occupied is now New Orleans Square. Holidayland opened on June 16, 1957 and closed in September of 1961. This very rare print measures approximately 20" x 16" and is noted on the back as being themed to the '12 days of Christmas' and designed by W.E.D. The print is in good condition with normal wear from age and minimal handling. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
