(Disneyland, c. 1995). A replica of the original cast member badge created for Disneyland's 40th anniversary. Metal badges like these were worn by cast members from the opening of the park in July 17, 1955 until 1962. The badge is made from copper and brass and displays "Disneyland" in the center and a classic "D" logo at the top. At the bottom is the number "1955", as cast members originally only wore badges that displayed their employee number and not their names. The badge is housed in a special case and is in good condition with normal wear from age and minimal handling. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
