(Disneyland, c. 1962). A Disneyland large park map created by Disney artist Sam McKim. This elegant blue border map is considered the fifth of the large park maps created for Disneyland. Released to the public during Walt Disney's lifetime, Disney would often use the large park maps for highlighting key areas of Disneyland and also for advertising upcoming attractions. Though the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean had not yet opened at Disneyland, this map version highlights both as attractions. Also should be noted that this is the first map to show the Haunted Mansion in the location its found in today, and it's the first appearance of Pirates of the Caribbean in a large park map. The map is in good condition with normal wear from age and handling. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
