(Disneyland, c. 1955). A very rare original contract for hiring the marching band that would perform in Disneyland beginning on opening day July 17, 1955 and through the year until July 16, 1956. The contract is uniquely completed by Disneyland's first employee and Vice President, C.V. Wood. Even though C.V. Wood was in charge of the construction of Disneyland, on behalf of Walt Disney, he was fired from the company shortly after the park opened and Disney rarely acknowledges Wood's role in the history of the park. The contract is in good condition with normal wear from age and minimal handling. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
