(Disneyland, Walt Disney Studios, c. 1961-66). An extremely rare and exquisite oversized 73" x 41.5" aerial photograph of Disneyland some time between 1961-66. This map was created for the Walt Disney Studios. Measuring more than 6 feet wide, the aerial captures a wonderful time in Disneyland's history when the development of lands and attractions was peeking during Walt Disney's life. Such wonderful new attractions like the "Matterhorn Bobsleds", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage", "Skyway", and the "Flying Saucers" were showing that Walt truly saw the park as a center for innovation and creativity as he famous stated that "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." This beautiful aerial is in good condition with normal wear from age and use, including a very small area in Tomorrowland that has been cut out. Item comes with a Grand Circle Tour Auctions COA.
