DEMO LOT
(Disney, c. 2016). One of Disney's best publications on the history of the Walt Disney Studios, the first edition of this book was published in 2016 but within days it was recalled from every store. Three years later the second edition was published in 2019. There was much speculation about what caused one of the only recalls of an official Disney publication. One theory was it was the result of an unprecedented published image and name of C.V. Wood, Disneyland's first General Manager who otherwise is not regularly found in any official Disney publications. It was discovered, however, that the only difference between both editions was a map at the back of the book providing a full layout of the Burbank Walt Disney Studios. It seems the first edition was most likely pulled for legal and security reasons due to the publishing of this map. Offered here is a rare first edition book that includes the map and is signed by Disney Archives Director Becky Cline. The book is in good condition with normal wear from age and minimal handling, including some slight edge wear of the cover.

In House shipping is available for a fee. Cost of materials, labor, and transportation. We also work with third party shippers or can take items to a shipping store of your choice. Freight shipping is also an option. Please ask for a freight quote before bidding on items that require freight shipping. We will only ship to the address registered on your payment account. If you need something shipped to a different address then it is the buyers responsibility to update your payment info's address. For example, if you pay by paypal we will only ship to the address that is registered to that paypal account. Please contact us in advance if you need an item shipped to a separate address. Local pick up is an option as well. Must provide ID and sign off on item(s). If ID does not match the winning bidders information we will not release item(s).
