(Buena Vista, c. 1955). A very rare 55/224 oversized "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier" original 1955 poster. The legendary Davy Crockett, "King of the Wild Frontier," brought to life perfectly by Fess Parker, was an icon of action and adventure for children and the world over. With his signature coonskin cap and buckskin coat, Davy ignited an unlikely fashion craze in the 1950's and 60's. Crockett, in stalwart hero stance, is featured on this spectacular two sheet poster. The poster shows only light wear. A wonderful piece of nostalgia and Disney history that coincided with the same year of Disneyland's opening. The larger prints are the most challenging to find. This poster has been linen backed for preservation and handling and has normal wear from age and minimal use. The poster measures 80" x 41.5".

In House shipping is available for a fee. Cost of materials, labor, and transportation. We also work with third party shippers or can take items to a shipping store of your choice. Freight shipping is also an option. Please ask for a freight quote before bidding on items that require freight shipping. We will only ship to the address registered on your payment account. If you need something shipped to a different address then it is the buyers responsibility to update your payment info's address. For example, if you pay by paypal we will only ship to the address that is registered to that paypal account. Please contact us in advance if you need an item shipped to a separate address. Local pick up is an option as well. Must provide ID and sign off on item(s). If ID does not match the winning bidders information we will not release item(s).
