5 day, 1 x 1, Dagestan Tur hunt for 1 hunter in North Ossetia, Russia. Hunting is very challenging. We organize a classic spot and stalk hunt. This is a real mountain hunt. We try to avoid any driven hunts. Spike camps are used intensively in order to hunt a particular area and avoid the most difficult part of vertical hiking. Most big trophy rams roam in remote country. Be in good shape; considerable climbing will be involved. Trip includes meeting and drop of at the airport, all transportation to and from the hunting region and in the hunting area, lodging and meals in the camp during the whole tour, PH, serving staff and one interpreter per group/camp, trophy care and packing for shipment. Schedule trip in 2021/2022 when the season begins on August 1st and goes through October 30th. Extra costs to be paid: formalities package ($400), license or permit fee ($400), CITES permit ($200), airline ticket to/from Moscow, domestic round trip flight to Vladikavkaz (approx. $300 USD coach), insurance, personal items, hotels and meals in Moscow or Vladikavkaz before/after hunt (hotel in Moscow from $150), excess luggage payment charged by airlines, sightseeing program, extra hunting days, additional trophies, taxidermy services in Moscow, domestic transport of trophies to shipper from Caucasus to Moscow ($200 USD), international transport of trophies to US ($1,500), tips to hunting guide and staff. Winning bidder may upgrade to Caucasian Chamois ($3,500 USD). Additional hunters welcome ($7,600 USD). Observers may come, too ($1.500 USD). Trip includes field and trophy prep, lodging, meals and non-alcoholic beverages, and laundry services. Outfitter recommends a long range rifle with scope and corresponding ammo. Only bolt action, no semi automatic rifles permitted.
