Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 1674s. Bbl. 8" w/ fine tune front sight base having commercial replacement bead front sight w/ serrated face. Fine tune rear sight assembly w/ all components numbered 20. Chamber dated 1917; 90,000 mfg., 155.000 from 1914-1918. Most matching numbered components renumbered w/ traces of prior #. Unnumbered parts are: extractor, firing pin, sear, grips, safety bar, takedown lever (crown G proofed), thumb safety & normally unnumbered rear toggle pivot. Hold open latch numbered "01" w/ crown G proof. Remaining components numbered "74" over prior numbers along w/ crown G on most components. Strawed sm. parts plus appropriate interior areas in the white. Right front of frame has "GERMANY" export mark stamped over proofs. MAGS: 1 fair blued 8 rd. w/ wood base marked "1 / 5731" / unreadable proof. CONDITION: good general appearance, original blue is dull w/ areas of wear. Left side of frame & extractor w/ appearance of cold blue. Scattered light peppery oxidation throughout; most noticeable on front strap plus some on back strap along w/ thinning. Faded straw colors w/ ejector having best appearance but w/ slight bow bend at midpoint. Grips w/ hand wear & extra finish applied; slight looseness to right. Side plate has original appearing finish w/ light oxidation & normal high point wear. Good to very good bore w/ faint wear. Front sight screw head removed & body slotted. (20-558/NW).
