VEPR MAG. WELL. Cal. 12 Ga. S# X11421699. Bbl. 19". The Saiga-12, as w/ its close relative the VEPR-12, have become extremely desirable shotguns, especially since halting sales from Russia. This particular version, imported through Legion USA may arguably be the best of both platforms. A true Saiga-12 mfg. by Izhmash that is modified to utilize the popular VEPR-12 mag. The 19" bbl. is terminated w/ right hand exterior threads & thread protector. The front sight is a traditional protected post at the end of the muzzle. Rear sight w/ a radius of 17" is a tangent style marked to 1000m. Circular white dot inserts on front post & in rear blade, filled w/ luminescent paint. Hinged top cover provides 7" of picatinny rail real estate. Right hand controls. Black plastic furniture set up for sling mounting on left side. Factory finish on exposed metal surfaces is a dark black. Fire arm appears unmolested by 922r standards & still retains the traditional rearward trigger placement, as well as a skeletonized stock, somewhat resembling the Draganov w/ a more VEPR style adj. cheek piece. Forend is similar in design to the Dragonov, over 10" in length w/ cylindrical cooling slots cut out in bbl. section. MAGS: 1-10 rd. & 1-5 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: cleaning kit, cleaning rod, factory literature, factory cardboard shipping box. CONDITION: all outward appearances indicate this firearm has not been utilized beyond factory test firing. Receiver finish below safety has yet to earn a scratch, indicating very low usage. Mirror bright bore. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-736/JZ). MODERN. $500-800.
