MAG. WELL. Cal. 12 Ga. S# H11429045. Bbl. 19". The Saiga-12, as w/ it’s close relative the Vepr-12, have become extremely desirable shotguns, especially since halting sales from Russia. This particular version may arguably be the best of both platforms. A true Saiga-12 by Izhmash that’s modified to use the popular VEPR-12 mag. The 19" bbl. is terminated w/ right hand exterior threads & guarded w/ a Tapco USA thread protector. Front sight is the traditional protected post at the end of the gas block, rear sight w/ a radius of 10" is a tangent style marked to 1000m. Hinged top cover that provides 7" of picatinny real estate, currently sporting a Burris Fastfire III red dot sight w/ a plastic weather shield. Right hand controls. Black plastic furniture suitable for sling mounting on left or right. Factory finish on exposed metal surfaces. Dark black. Front handguard & heatshield traditional ribbed style w/ VEPR left side folding shoulder stock & adj. cheek piece. Black plastic pistol grip. MAGS: 1-5 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: styrofoam lined factory cardboard shipping box. CONDITION: lack of wear on factory finish is indicative of very low usage. It appears to have a very low round count. Folding stock locks up tightly in the open position, and although it locks correctly on the closed position it could use a spacer for rigidity. Mag. release needs to be lengthened to function properly as it currently sits approx. 1/4" below the surface of the mechanism necessitating a screw driver or external tool to release the mag. Red dot sight appears serviceable. Bore is mirror shiny & fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-729/JZ). MODERN. $500-800.
