(Epcot, 1982) A full set of (9) architectural blueprints prepared for the beloved attraction Journey Into Imagination at EPCOT Center. These rare blueprints, overseen by Tony Baxter and Roger Day, were created by Walt Disney Imagineering and used during the construction of the attraction. The set depicts the complete track layout and each of the attractions (8) show scenes, with one page dedicated to each. Renderings include the pre-show, the rotating theater featuring the Dreamcatcher, the Dreamport with Imaginometer, the realms of The Visual Arts, Literature, Performing Arts, Science & Technology, and Image Technology as well as the Exit Tunnel with Unload Area. Included are numerous pictorial elevations and details relating to the Cloud Tunnels, special effects, lighting, maintenance track, and other behind the scenes insights, along with construction schedules and interior finishes. Together, this set provides a fascinating and in-depth overview of the attraction. Measuring 36"x48", the renderings are in overall very good condition, with some creases and handling wear to the edges and corners. The "Schedule of Interior Finishes" sheet has a 5" tear along the edge.
