(Applewood Books, 1996) A collection of (6) limited edition Disney Character boxed sets. Each set includes a facsimile of a vintage children's book and CD recording of the respective story. Originally published in 1938, these books provided young readers with an introduction to Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Clarabelle and Dippy (Goofy's original name). The CDs feature an exclusive reading of the story, featuring character voices and narrated by Horace Horsecollar. These boxed sets were limited to only 2,500 copies each. Each box measures 5.25"x5.25". All items are in very fine condition and remain unopened.
