(Disneyland, c.1954) An original concept drawing of Tomorrowland by Imagineer Herb Ryman. In this pre-opening Disneyland concept, the Tomorrowland Entryway begins to take form, and definitive visual elements that would materialize in Tomorrowland are depicted, including the nautical flags over the Tomorrowland Exhibit Halls as well as the Clock of the World centerpiece. Ryman's early concept drawings such as this, not only helped shape Tomorrowland, but contributed in the development of Disneyland as a whole. Measuring 10"x17", the concept drawing is mounted on artist's board and is in fine condition.
